Assignments

Assignments and Due Dates:

2nd Grade:
Cash Book: Students will receive a workbook of money word problems. We will work on these pages in class and as occasional homework. All of the pages in the workbook need to be completed and turned in by April 1, 2009.

3d Grade:
Fraction Wheels: The students will complete a fraction wheel by placing two different color plates together. Full instructions and supplies will be given during class time and the student will need to complete the fraction wheel at home. Due: September 23, 2008

Fraction Workbook: The students will receive a fraction workbook that we will work on in class. All pages in the fraction workbook must be completed and turned in to me by April 1, 2009.

4th Grade:
Decimal Placemats: The students will complete a decimal placemat. The instuctions and materials will be given out and ecplained in class and the student will need to complete the placemat at home. Due: September 8, 2008.

Multiplication Flashcards: Each student will construct their own set of multiplication flashcards. Materials will be handed out in class and the students will receive their instructions and materials on September 8, 2008. Due: September 29, 2008.


Testing: The students will receive tests in their classroom only. I will not be giving any additional assessments.

Students and Parents,

Our first unit will cover the addition of whole numbers. I have included links to three games that will help students practice their addition skills as well as one link to a homework helper for addition.
